Great music in a great place is what the Beaver Lake Coffeehouse is all about. If an
evening of acoustic music and good company sounds like the way you would like to
spend a Saturday night, then this is the program for you! Decadent desserts and great
coffee are always available for sale at this event, so leave room for dessert! Afterward, take a moonlit stroll on the luminaria-lit Lakeview Trail for an enchanting end to the evening. Each evening performance is scheduled around a full moon.

Michael Houston is widely recognized as the lead vocalist of the award-winning J Project band. His velvety smooth vocals traverse the realms of smooth jazz and soulful rhythm and blues, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. His performances have graced Central New York’s most esteemed events, including The Syracuse Jazz Fest, The Northeast Wine & Jazz Festival, and The Great New York State Fair. In 2008, he was awarded the prestigious Syracuse Music Award (SAMMY) for the best R&B CD with the J Project Band. Currently, Michael has been performing at the Del Lago Casino and The Turning Stone Casino.

After a hiatus in 2015, she made a triumphant return to the music scene, infusing her performances with the soulful essence of gospel and the captivating allure of blues, jazz, and soul. Her latest musical endeavor, a collaborative quartet, seamlessly combines skillful musicianship, distinctive style, and infectious energy, ensuring unforgettable and captivating live experiences for all music enthusiasts.
Loren Barrigar with L J Barrigar

The father and son duo of Loren & LJ Barrigar bring their fingerstyle guitar wizardry and Nashville picking together for a night of music. Loren started playing guitar when he was only four years old, and by the time he was six, played the Chet Atkins hit “Yackety Axe” in front of thousands of country music fans at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. After a touring career with his family band, traveling from Nashville to Las Vegas, he settled in Central New York and has been in constant demand as a studio musician. His son, L J Barrigar, will accompany Loren. They have been on the road doing shows and appearing on the radio in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Oklahoma, Maryland, and Arkansas.
